Glapp GLP 1 tracker app: features, cost and what to know
Glapp is a tracking app for people using GLP 1 medicines. It brings injections, weight, symptoms, appetite, wellbeing and medication supply into one place, with optional reports and projections through Glapp Max.
What it is
A GLP 1 diary with more detail than a basic weight tracker
At its simplest, Glapp is somewhere to record a dose and see progress over time. However, it also lets users note food noise, hunger, side effects, cravings, mood, energy, sleep and bowel movements. This may make it easier to spot a pattern or arrive at a review appointment with a clearer record than memory alone can provide.
Feature and pricing information came from Glapp and was checked against its public website and app store listings. Monj has not independently tested every calculation or security control. Store ratings and prices can change, while features may differ by device, country or subscription status.
Background
Built around lived experience and community feedback
Glapp says it was created by two developers who use GLP 1 medicines themselves. The project grew out of conversations on Reddit and has continued to change in response to user feedback. Its stated principles are to use clinical evidence, protect privacy and only add features that address a practical problem during treatment. These are the developer’s descriptions of the product rather than claims independently certified by Monj.
Practical tracking
The emphasis is on recording treatment routines, symptoms and progress rather than acting as another general calorie counter.
Evidence in context
Users can compare their recorded progress with selected clinical trial results and anonymous peer patterns. That comparison is context, not a personal target.
User controlled data
Glapp says users choose what to record and can request deletion. As with any health app, it is worth taking a moment to read the store’s data information.

Core tools
What Glapp says is included for free
The free tier covers the main recording tools. That matters because Glapp Max is optional rather than required simply to keep a basic dose and symptom diary. Even so, the boundary between free and premium features can change, so check the current app screen before relying on a particular tool.
Routine and response
- Log dose, date, time and injection site.
- Track weight at different prescribed dose stages.
- Record hunger, food noise, cravings and side effects.
- Add mood, energy, sleep and bowel movement check ins.

- See app generated “shot phases” across the weekly cycle.
- Compare recorded progress with selected clinical trial results.
- Compare broad patterns with anonymised peer data.
Medication supply
- Record pens, vials, concentration, volume and expiry or beyond use dates.
- Deduct a logged dose from the recorded inventory.
- Keep track of what the user has entered as remaining supply.
Information and habits

- Search research and community material through the Wisdom feature.
- Use records to support a more specific conversation with a prescriber.

Public feedback
Glapp ratings vary by platform
Ratings offer useful context about the user experience, although they can move quickly. They also reflect different users in different markets, so we have shown each platform separately rather than blending them into one average.
What recent reviews add
Many reviewers praise the breadth and ease of the tracking tools. However, some recent Google Play reviews criticised earlier features moving into the paid tier after Glapp Max launched. Glapp responded that more than 95% of features, including core tracking, remained free. Prospective users should judge the current free and paid split inside the app.

Medication support
Which GLP 1 medicines can Glapp track?
Glapp lists support for Mounjaro, Ozempic, Wegovy and Zepbound, as well as records based on the active ingredients tirzepatide and semaglutide. It also includes retatrutide tracking, although retatrutide remains an investigational medicine in clinical trials and is not an approved routine treatment.
Flexible enough for less typical treatment records
Glapp can record split dosing, microdosing and switches between medicines, which may be useful for people whose clinician has agreed a less standard routine. The tracking option itself is not treatment guidance, so users should continue to follow the plan agreed with their prescriber.
Health data
A quick look at privacy
A treatment tracker can hold personal information about medicines, weight and symptoms, so it is worth understanding how that information is handled.
- Glapp says it does not sell or share users’ information and that users can delete their data.
- Google Play declares that the app may collect personal information, health and fitness data, and app activity.
- Google Play also declares no third party data sharing, encryption in transit and a route to request deletion.
- Store declarations are supplied by the developer and are not the same as an independent security or privacy audit.
Monj view
Who might find Glapp useful?
Glapp is likely to suit someone who wants more structure than a notes app but does not want every aspect of treatment reduced to calories. Its strongest practical feature is the breadth of information that can be kept together: dose history, injection sites, symptoms, appetite, wellbeing, weight and supply. Meanwhile, people who only want a simple weekly reminder may find it more detailed than necessary.
The reports and visual trends may help a user explain what has happened between clinical reviews. Nevertheless, app generated phases, peer comparisons and projected dates should not decide whether a dose is working or needs to change. That remains a clinical conversation.
