Four GLP-1 style medicines are licensed for weight loss in the UK and sold through online pharmacies. Each has its own Medstack price site, with live prices for every dose.

Trial figures are averages from separate placebo-controlled trials with different people, lengths and doses. They do not rank one medicine above another. Your prescriber will advise on the right choice for you.
Why one pen has many prices
Every UK pharmacy buys Mounjaro pens from the same supplier. The price you pay still varies by tens of pounds a month between the cheapest and dearest seller. Five things drive the gap.
First order discounts
Most pharmacies cut the first month to win you. The second month returns to the normal price. Always look at both.
Dose steps
Higher doses cost more per pen. A pharmacy with the lowest 2.5mg price is often not the lowest at 10mg or 15mg.
Delivery and fees
Some sellers add delivery, a consultation fee or a cold chain charge at checkout. Monj shows the delivered total, so the figure you see is the figure you pay.
Bundles
Two or three pens bought together often cost less per pen. The saving only counts if you stay on the same dose for those months.
Subscriptions
A monthly plan sometimes locks in a lower price. Read the cancellation terms before you sign up.
Six ways to pay less for a weight loss injection
- Compare the delivered total. Use the Mounjaro price comparison and sort by your dose. The figure includes delivery.
- Check the repeat price before you order. A low first month followed by a high second month costs more over a year. The standard Mounjaro price list shows what later months cost.
- Price your next dose too. You move up a dose every four weeks or more. Pick a pharmacy with fair prices across the doses you expect to use.
- Look at bundles once your dose settles. The Mounjaro bundle prices page lists two and three pen deals.
- Plan for maintenance. Some pharmacies stop prescribing once your BMI drops. The maintenance price list shows who keeps prescribing and at what cost.

Cheap is not the same as safe
Weight loss injections are prescription-only medicines in the UK. A legal seller asks health questions, checks your weight and has a pharmacist and prescriber behind the order. Pens sold through social media, gyms or beauty salons skip those checks. The MHRA has warned about fake pens, some found to hold insulin instead of the real medicine.
Before you pay, look up the pharmacy on the General Pharmaceutical Council register. Every pharmacy in the Monj table has had its registration checked by hand.

Which weight loss injection is cheapest in the UK?
At the first doses, Wegovy usually costs less per pen than Mounjaro at most UK pharmacies. At higher doses the gap narrows, and the cheapest choice depends on your dose and pharmacy. Monj shows live Mounjaro prices for every dose and iGovy shows the same for Wegovy.
Is Mounjaro cheaper than Wegovy?
Not at the starting dose. Mounjaro’s 2.5mg pen costs more than Wegovy’s 0.25mg pen at most pharmacies. Compare the two at the dose you expect to stay on, since you will pay the maintenance price for most of the year.
Do the prices include delivery?
Yes. Every price on Monj is the delivered total for one month at the dose shown, including delivery and any fee added at checkout.
Why does my second month cost more than the first?
Most pharmacies discount the first order only. From the second month you pay the standard price, and each step up in dose adds to the cost. Check the standard price list before you choose a pharmacy.
Are weight loss injections cheaper on the NHS?
An NHS prescription in England costs the standard charge per item, and prescriptions are free in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. NHS access follows NICE criteria and waiting lists are long, so most people pay privately.
Are cheap weight loss injections from social media safe?
No. Pens sold without a prescription through social media or salons are illegal and often fake. Buy only from a pharmacy listed on the General Pharmaceutical Council register.
