About PillTime
PillTime is an online-only pharmacy run by Pill Time Ltd from two units at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol. You cannot visit in person. Everything is delivered. Its main business is NHS prescriptions, packed into dated pouches. Weight loss is a separate private service, led by pharmacist prescribers. You complete a free online assessment, a prescriber reviews it, and treatment is sent only if approved.
What the GPhC found in July 2026
The General Pharmaceutical Council inspected PillTime on 16 July 2026. The overall outcome was standards not all met. Two standards failed:
- Checking your weight. The team could not show it independently checks height, weight or BMI before prescribing weight loss treatment.
- Discount codes. The inspector said discount codes linked to weight loss medicines on the PillTime website were not in line with MHRA and ASA guidance.
Premises, services and equipment met the standards. PillTime was rated standards all met at its previous inspection in July 2022. The GPhC now requires an improvement action plan and reinspects after six months. Monj lists the code because PillTime publishes it. You deserve both facts before you choose.
