Why the Slimming Direct offer still needs a check
What you get can depend on your account, the order type, stock, delivery and Slimming Direct's checkout rules. Open the offer, then look at the total.
A lower price doesn't skip the clinical checks. You still do the consultation properly, and it's only worth going ahead if the price, the terms and the treatment all suit you.
Monj looks at Slimming Direct's public offer wording, the provider details on their site, the regulator link and the checkout wording. Prices and terms change, so the checkout page has the final say.
About Slimming Direct
Slimming Direct is a UK online weight management service. It works through an online consultation and a clinical review, with discreet delivery if treatment is suitable and approved.
Don't judge it on the headline offer alone. Compare the price you'd actually pay once the dose, supply length, delivery charge and repeat-order terms are clear.
The offer has nothing to do with the clinical decision. Paying less doesn't mean you'll be approved, or that the treatment is right for you.
Slimming Direct pharmacy and regulation information
The GPhC register link on this page is for pharmacy premises number 1031513. Check the live entry, and Slimming Direct's current website, before you order.
A register check isn't medical advice. For questions about side effects, suitability, dose changes, maintenance or your medical history, ask Slimming Direct or another qualified healthcare professional.
Before you order
- Go by the checkout total, not the headline.
- Look for a delivery charge. Postage adds to the monthly cost.
- Make sure you're comparing the same dose and supply length.
- Read the repeat-order terms, as later orders can cost more than the first.
- An offer isn't an approval. That still comes down to the consultation and clinical review.
- Do the consultation directly with Slimming Direct.
